Are the bars and clubs closed tonight in your neck of the woods? They open tonight (well Monday morning) at 12:01 am here.  Why bother?

I'm at home for NYE in front of the TV and, worryingly perhaps, happy to be so. A quiet one tonight is just what the doctor ordered.

Ours are open. Just got back in from a New Years party at my favorite one. 
Well, we were there till 11:30 and then went to see the fireworks and then back to the bar for a bit and then out for coffee and home.  The party started early and is going till 4:00AM.
Ours can open at noon on Sundays and only have to close from 4 to 6 in the morning everyday. I honestly don't know why they have to close at all. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss
