That was quite a while ago, wasn't it? hmmm

Since then I've lost my 'hawk in a fit of drunken frustration at hair that just won't stay up in Vancouver weather. Maybe it's time to start a boy-haircut-on-girls thread?

lol No. I wish. I was in Van for a while about a month ago -when that fabulous, ungodly snow first hit the coast.

lol

I've found the most unlikely slash subjects without even trying. Looney Tunes, Simpsons, politicians, historical military leaders, you name it. You never know what's going to inspire a slasher.

I'm constantly surprised that there isn't more slash in the Bowie/glam rock fandom. It's so obvious, how could they not? But so far I've only ever found a small handful of fics.

And then there's this site's namesake. It's a bit odd to me that no Prince slash ever appeared, especially considering the HoYay! fodder that was UTCM. That'd make for an interesting study topic, wouldn't it? Different fandoms and their link to slash. Some fandoms just go hand in hand with the fan fic, like Buffy, and others barely exist in the same universe.

I'm sure she'd like to write her own story involving a time machine, Jimmy Page and a bottle of wine wink

But, yeah, that Spock/Kirk love affair thing is the grand-daddy of crazy fan fiction.

I always add Robert Plant in there as well though, because that's what makes it so slashy. razz
