ringworm! By the description it does sound like it but they are other diseases that can cause this, always best 2 visit the doctors as it could be contagious, always best 2 check.

I have Psoriasis mildly and I find the best lotion is Vaseline Coco Butter lotion...$5 at Walmart or any other store like that, or get something with vitamin E in it and make sure to moisturize it well after showering and periodically during the day, it dries up fast, hence the flaky skin so just keep it moisturized for a couple days and see if it improves at all, if it doesnt it could be an allergic reaction to something and a perscription cream from the doctor should clear it up quickly.

Here ya go. It's about the size of a quarter--maybe a bit smaller. (FIGURE 1: The rash) Imago, this doesn't appear to be ringworm, however, it does look like something you might definately want to have checked out, just to be on the safe side. Has it spread any? Be sure you tell your Dr. everything you can as you best remember, whether you've had a fever or have felt sick since you have noticed this rash. I'll keep you in my prayers, if by chance it is psoriasis, you may also want to try getting Vitamin E gel capsules, pinprick the capsule and apply the oil from inside directly to the area, if it is the psoriasis, this will help moisturize the area, and it may even clear up, but psoriasis hardly ever goes completely away, it has more like a remission stage, and could re-appear somewhere else on your body..just watch carefully, as it can be anywhere, even on your scalp..hope this helps...have a great new year..many blessings Because of God..we 2 r 1~~Darren & Suzyn forever

See a doctor. If it's psoriasis, there are some really good prescription meds they can give you. But you may have to try a few bedore you find one that works. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

That will help with the itching and help it to heal. Athlete's foot can spread to areas where you sweat a lot. Lamisil cream can help it if it is a fungus of some type. I have seen that sort of thing on the guys on their backs, arms and legs. If you work out at a gym and do not wipe down the weight bench or chairs before you sit on them it could pass to you that way. You should lay a towel down where ever you work out to be safe. Your regular doctor can scrape it to test for fungus or whatever. Don't stress. It could be simple as that. Wanted: Virtual Sugar Daddy to help me buy stuff on Farmville and move up the ranks. ok, ok.
I found out what it was. My dermetologist, Dr. Caban (he's kind of hawt and shit) said two different things are going on. The raw spot is an irritation of my skin coming into contact with something (a surface that I don't like). I totally agree with him. it's the arm rest on my car and the arm rest on my work chair. But the little rash spots throughout the rest of my arm is eczema. They gave me two ointments. A very strong one for the skin not near my tender areas, and a strong one for the rougher skin. He also gave me anti-biotic/steriod pills or some shit. I have to take them 4 times a day. And they took a raised mole off the side of my torso, and took 2 biopsies of flat moles on my chest. I return in two weeks to see if I need the moles removed and if my skin has improved. I'm going to ask him to remove those moles anyways. To bad I can't ask for a tummy tuck. ]

Normally they won't even question you if it's a raised mole or a large mole. They give you a shot (which stings for less than a second, and totally numbs the area around the mole (numbs about a 1.5 to 2 inch circumference) then they "shave" the mole off with a razor--takes literally 5 seconds total. They took one that I hated off the top of my head (Becuase it was large and would cause combs to catch it at the salon), and within a week it totall healed enough to go back to the salon (though I didn't actually go for about 3 or 4 weeks afterwards). Simple and painless. Consult your dermatologist though. Cuase depending on the type and were it needs to be removed, scarring may be a concern--though I don't think scars are ugly.

And besides, I'm normally staring at your mouth and not your mole, and even then, only when I'm not staring at your damned breasts. But I digress, you should consult your dermetologist. They can often remove moles and even large lesions off a persons face without scarring or marks. It's really what you're comfortable with. For me, I love and worship the sun, and spend alot of time in the ocean and beach. So even though I wear sunscreen and ensure I don't sunburn, I know I'll get moles from time to time. So, I dont' think it's vain at all to remove them.
