I guess you would just have to make sure you had the money set aside so when the $300 bill came, you could just pay it off and forget about it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

The worst ones are the gas and electric. I have gas heat, but electric everything else. With a family of five, I do laundry like every day. Because of my electric dryer, my electric bills are through the roof. I just heard the other day that our roads are going to get. repaved (I live in a private subdivision), so my taxes are getting ready to go up too Ugh, they sure get people with those taxes, don't they? yes, they do especially in new developing areas at least here people buy in newly developed sub-divisions but they don't consider the new schools, roads, drainage and lighting that are going up also and though their taxes maybe low say the first year or two it's not going to stay that way and even in established areas like when the roads are repaved or the drainage is improved...oh, they get'cha alright.

They find a way, which is sad, because it never seems to end. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Okay, just made a list of pros and cons surrounding buying a new house. I came up with 10 pros and 6 cons. What does that tell ya? Time to save up my money, buy that house, and get out of where I'm living now. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Not every area bills you directly for garbage pickup. When I lived "in town," garbage pickup was done by one company throughout the city and I guess it was included in our taxes. But when I moved to the country, we could pick our own garbage collectors. I pay $36 every three months and can set out up to six cans a week for that price. Decent, I think.

fanniemae.com
for info and check realtors.com for info as well, use these sites for research purposes. my water bill in texas is about $100 per month, with a sprinkler system, 4 people living here ( that's 4 showers a day at least) doing laundry twice a week including garbage pick up and recycle pick up. The property taxes are ridiculous but they come out of our escrow account, that's the way to do it if you are asked, my sister tried it the other way and it was too hard so they refinanced and changed back. The electric bill is very high $300-400, but we have a big house(2300sq ft) and my mom is old and keeps the heat or air on all the time. Plus we are all electric which is more expensive than gas anyday. BUT I have rented, lived on base and in numerous apartments. NOTHING beats having your own house, the feeling of satisfaction is wonderful. HAPPY HUNTING. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou
