What's on the telly?

As it stands now, it looks like I will be hanging at a close friend's house with a few people.
Bleh.
It will be fine, but I always have such a good time going out on New Years it's a little disappointing this year. No new fun outfit, no throwing glitter, no kissing strangers ( )...

I am going to a party at a 5 star hotel. It will be held in 3 separate ballrooms, with different music in each one. In one of the rooms, they will be playing all Prince, Michael Jackson and Madonna.
I'll try not to get too drunk.

Last year I had a really good time. I went to see Dreamgirls (the play was touring) and we counted down to the New Year with the cast and free chanpagne.

No plans yet. I wanna spend it with a certain someone but I doubt that will happen.

I'll be at the Pistons/Suns game on NYE afternoon. A friend of mine is throwing a NYE party at his new house in Ann Arbor that night.

My sister and I are going to see "Robert Randolph and the Family Band" at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ. We went all out and got the "Dom Perignon" package which includes a table with waitress service, party favors, a bottle of Dom, free 'rock star' parking, and continental breakfast after the concert.
We figured we were too old to do 'general admission', standing and having drunks bumping into us all night....

RR is awesome- saw him a month or so ago and had a blast!!!

I flew from Maryland to Japan for the primary purpose of having New Years in Japan. I am going to club Happy Cock (yes thats the name) and purify myself in the waters of late Minnetonka afterwards...(in reality I am going to pray at Daizafu shine with friends) so a western and eastern new years

My girlfriend and I are going to sit in my living room and watch the fireworks go off at the Space Needle and drink tea and contemplate life.

Unfortunately New Year's Day falls on a Monday and at 0200 I am at the TV station prepping for the 0456 am morning show. So, basically on New Year's Eve I am playing like I am on GMT -- like London time. So at around 1800 in Toledo, Ohio, I'll ring in the new year, then go to bed.

That ... or I will sleep and celebrate a few hours early, like Brazil time, and then go to work. While I'm prepping for the show time of the show is right before midnight in the Hawaiian islands.

So ... basically, not doing much. Heh.
