Boxing Day IS the day everyone beats each other with the gifts they didn't want and all kinds of mud slingling ensues. Do you have this day where you are or is it just a British thing?

Boxing Day (December 26) is here in Canada too.
I never go to the after Christmas day sales. It's crazier than last minute Christmas shopping. Some merchants take 70% off their merchandise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_Day Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! And by "merchandise" she means the junk that no one was willing to buy anyone else for christmas. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I'm going to celebrate by going to the Rocky movie today. Well, not really, but if today was a Friday and I wasn't feeling like crap due to the latest cold, I would.

It's a Brit thing, i guess. Here it's simply "tweede kerstdag".
(Second christmas day) Where does the 'boxing' part come from anyway? You don't scare me; i got kids

Anyone want a Richard Marx Greatest Hits C.D. for boxing day? Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.
