Tis the season to eat candy, and boy have I been getting candy as gifts. My two bosses gave me a real pretty "stacked boxes" of candy for Christmas. Then today, when I got to work, there was another container of candy sitting on my desk. It's a plot to get me fat, I tell ya.

The whole WORLD is out to keep me fat.

Perhaps it's time I stopped fighting it.

I have beeen eatingly an ungodly amount of sweets. But I WILL be in the gym later today.

Oh man. My last job was crazy for people bringing in treats all year round.

They would put it on the end of my desk since it was right near the fax machine/printer. Having that shit staring at me all day was absolute torture.

Since I started this position in May it hasn't been AS bad, but there are still treats galore. My last job we had a candy dish that was stocked at all times. I even had to go pick up candy for it often. I finally started picking out candy I hated.

just cause it's there, doesn't mean you have to partake of it

Wait till they start hiding a meatloaf and a box of glazed donuts in your desk drawers...

There has not been any treats in my office. Except a client of this one lawyer dropped off a box of candies for everyone.

Same here! EVERYDAY for the last month, some fattening, sugary, addicting treats have been plopped on my desk, and I've been forced to look at them all day. Unfortunately, my will power has not been strong enough to resist.
