Well.....The judge didn't decide until late last night that Brother Redwood could be released.... seeing as it's Christmas  
...Seeing as our time was taken up yesterday and Brother Redwood was still behind bars ... we decided to postpone Christmas until today 
...The children were frustrated as you can imagine  but they understood and wanted Uncle Redwood home when they opened their presents 
...When he was released Brother Redwood was accompanied by Cousin Donwood... ...They went straight to Plodwood .. who was still around.. and Brother Redwood shook his hand... Plodwood had been kind to him ..(how more sickly can it get?) 
The three of them walked home chatting about the last few days events... ... Brother Redwood suggested that Plodwood stays over for Christmas.. he agreed They all stopped off on the way to get some last minute things... Brother Redwood got some decorations... including a Christmas tree 
...When they got home Ma Rosewood was beside herself with releif that Brother Redwood was home... as we all were 
...Then Pa spotted Cousin Donwood.. and ran right over to him

Brother Redwood knew he had put the family through a hard time....
....The treacle and natural candy markets had also suffered as we had dropped below our normal targets 
... So he was eager to impress... and ran round putting up the decorations he had boughts... 
...He had also bought Ironwood and Yellowwood a whole heap of Giant chocolates (ok... so I forgot to buy little ones )
...They were over the Moon

....Cousin Donwood .. Brother Redwood and Plodwood had all chipped in to buy the family a special present.... But we couldn't fathom out what it was  
...Was it a Spaceship??... 
...Was it a giant juicer???...  
...Was it a Mega Sex Toy for Ma Rosewood?????..... 
...No.... Sorry Ma it isn't 
...It's an mp3 player... Though where we were going to put it was a mystery...
...Just as we were pondering this little conundrum in popped no other than.... ....Althomwood
...It turned out that he had seen the mp3 player arrive and had mistaken it for a long lost relation
... However, .. he was full of the Christmas spirit.... Mainly Vodka... 
...Which was a bit of a mystery as we all knew him to be partial tto lemon squash
...We had to keep our eyes on him as he tried to make off with the Christmas pudding decoration... which he mistook as food 
...He's a good old sort though and joined in the celebrations as we all gathered round the tree and watched Ironwood and Yellowwood open their presents and eat their chocolate 
...We hope you all had a lovely Christmas day..... it'll soon be New Years....Lawd help us
....and just in case Brother Redwood does get ideas of going roaming again...we enlisted the help of a giant dog...

...Brrother Redwood could be in real trouble if he goes roving again .... but I'm sure he will try
