I thought it was okay, but that's all. Craig was as stone-faced and boring as I expected him to be (besides he's too much of a clean-cut tough guy, Clive Owen would have been a better choice), the lack of cartoonishness was welcomed by some but I feel that it is a big part of what makes the Bond movies what they are, the pre-opening credit sequence was the lamest so far, the pacing was off some times, the poker sequence a big yawn, and I didn't get any strong feeling that this was early in his career. They could have done more with that, maybe made him more vulnerable, I don't know. shrug

I loved the parkour sequence though, I thought Mikkelsen was a good villain, the snappy dialogue on the train was quintessential Bond, the poisoning sequence was great, and there were a few other good scenes and moments scattered throughout.

I thought CR was a great film. I saw it twice wink More enjoyable the second time.
I didn't mind the opening sequence, especially as they used the gun-barrel shot in conjunction with the story.
And the ending line had me walking out with a big smile too.

CR is a fantastic reboot of the Bond franchise and is EXACTLY what the series needed.

Though I think the best film I've seen all year--hands down--is "Shortbus."

I found her way better looking during the scene in the bathroom, when she had no make-up on.
