I was checking out some astrology sites last night because I saw a talk show on tv about "traditional" astrology and fortune tellers, so I got curious ..but when I read the content of some sites, I was quite surprised that a lot of folks who are supposedly very compatible with me according to traditional astrology are absolutely incompatible according to Chinese astrology...for instance, Scorpio is very compatible with me, but one girl I know ( a Scorpio) is a sheep according to the Chinese and is therefore totally incompatible with me ...

Then again, I used to know a Scorpio woman who was also born in the year of the Dragon, therefore extremely compatible with me ....but we are no longer on speaking terms...

So, all you hobby astrologists out there, which kind of zodiac do you believe in, if you do believe in this at all ?
And what if the two zodiacs contradict each other ? Would you rather believe in the traditional one or the Chinese one ? Do you combine them ? Or don´t you believe in the sun sign at all ? Experience tells me to believe in sun signs.

In Chinese Astrology, you don't necessarily become a sheep because you were born in the Year Of The Sheep...

I don't believe in any of it.
I think it can be a fun tool to self-examine and get to know yourself and others around you better, but that's all. If you look hard enough, you'll find you have traits of all of the signs. And the daily horoscopes are generally vague enough, you can apply it to just about anything in your life that may be happening.
I still think it's fun. But I don't think it's 'true'.

Thanks a lot ...once I´ve found out the necessary data ( time of birth etc.) I will try to find out the true sign.

Last week I asked my man Ravinder about those holy cows...and another person ( Ramany, a woman ) showed me a poster of all the different Gods and where they come from ( supposedly from a cow ? ) ...that was complicated enough...let alone astrology...

Traditional, and it's always been very true by be. So much so that I should really listen to it a bit more when it comes to those that I am/am not compatible with!
