What movie should I take my pops to see? I'm getting ready to leave to his house in a couple of hours to cook some canolies. Afterwords I told him I'd treat him to a late night picture show. Here are my three choices.
1. Rocky Balboa 2, The Good Shepherd 3, The Pursuit of Hapiness Which one of these 3 should I got to and why! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Probably Rocky Balboa. Good Shepherd is 3 hours long, dull and lifeless, a vanity project for DeNiro. The Pursuit of Happyness is way too much sugar and schmaltz for late night viewing. And Rocky has the best reviews of the 3 of 'em. | |

Depends on his tastes really.
I've heard nothing but good things about "We are Marshall". You should take him to see that one. And you should do it quick so that we don't run the risk of you creating another thread. | |

"Rocky Balboa" is a great film, but if he's even a SLIGHT James Bond fan, take him to see "Casino Royale." BEST Bond film since "Goldeneye." | |

I took My Pops to see Rocky, This afternoon I went to my moms house to cook tamales and took her to see The Pursuit of Happiness. I liked both movies. Good holiday flicks! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.
