As for WalMart, I'd say it's a precautionary measure against theft since they're having so many people in and out of their doors the past month. They do it all the time at Sam's Club. But if there's a long line for leaving the store, they'd better get more employees helping out because I don't want to wait that long just to get out of a damn store.  I agree. When I leave there with all of my purchases in bags, they don't check the receipt, because they figure that a checker put it in the bag after it was paid for. Larger items that don't fit in bags are trickier, because they don't know if you've been through the check out line UNLESS you have a receipt.
That being said, I also agree that it's a huge inconvenience, and I avoid going to Wal Mart at all costs. The amount of money I save won't pay for the meds to treat the anxiety that place gives me!  Wanna hear me sing?  www.ChampagneHoneybee.com | |
