I can't stand people like that. I usually make jibes based on their appearance like:

"well maybe if you lost a few you could have run to grab it before me!"
"looks like your money would be better spent ensuring your kid doesn't turn out like you."

This story would have been so much better if it ended with, "So I punched her in the mouth".

My typical line would be, "Walk away, or walk away with blood in your urine - the choice is yours, b!tch."

I don't believe in starting anything unless some idiot puts his hand on me. These days you have to be extra careful because fools are packin'.

Of course it is. She started it with her f-n attitude, so jersey put her in her place. Don't start sh!t, and there won't be any.

It happened to me a few years ago in the Lowes paint dept- this lady cut in front of me (and like 12 others) and I called her out. Long story short (and it was a hot mess) bitch called me a "faggot" and I called her a "dried out old fucking cunt"

No if that was George Dubya attitude, Jersey, would have bitch slapped her first, than taken the gift, but have no strategy on how to deal with her reaction. nod

Yeah I didn't feel good about the way I reacted to my 'fight.' Nothing like that has happened since but I'd kill them with kindness should it or threaten to call 911.

I don't bother anyone, I don't talk sh!t to anyone and I go out of my way to avoid trouble. I live my life and MYOB. But I'm not a believer in loving my enemies and turing the other cheek. You do that, you'll get slapped again. There are two kinds of people in this world - the ones who take sh!t, and the ones who don't. Jersey & Cynthia handled their business the right way.

oh oh oh... i was at Sams (i had a free 1 year membership) and we were in line and there was a few people in line, the one in front of me had one item in his hand. but as he gets to the checker he calls for him mother... and she had a huge overflowing cart... I said "come on now" and the guy (he was huge) gives me this look... i was going say something else but my wife said "no...let them go"

so i did... well the checker asks for her card.... and it was expired! she tried to complain but the checker said "you'll have to go over there....next" and there was a huge LINE where you get cards... she said "i have to wait in that long ass line?" and i said "naw just cut in like you tried with me"

(another hobby i use to have was getting security tags on people or on their carts,,,but now most of the tags are in the packaging)

well at least none of it was violent... and it is just a reaction to a situation. i am sure in hindsite most people would react differently. but then again there is something cool about getting in a good jab when someone is an ass to you... hell i get it all the time round here... lol

i once had this lady yelling at me at this store i worked at (many moons ago)...she just wouldn't let up. well, i borrowed one of my favorite lines from dangerous liasons and asked her to, "please take a less marital tone" with me. she totally stopped...said okay, then realized what i told her and proceeded to go off again. everyone in the store just kinda looked up and giggled. thats how i handle these situations...with humor. its not to say i will let someone cut me in line...but there are more subtle ways of dealing with the situation then going back and forth at eachother...

at anyrate...happy holiday folks!!!
