People are sliding right off the freeway!

I HATE this weather. People DIE in ice storms.

I don't want to drive in it.


Anyone else experiencing this?

i didn't even walk over to shinders like i normally do for lunch because of the rain.

I'm complaining about 40 degree weather. I can't say I know what you're going through.

All you kitties be careful in that weather. If you drive Carrie, be careful. Do chains help in that situation. Chains are for snow not ice right?

just as long as it doesn't turn into anything like the ice storm that happened when i was about 10, it'll be cool.

I don't like freezing rain. I stay home and off the road. Stay off the road if the trip is not necessary.

This happened in New Prague, MN yesterday afternoon. There were only 3 kids on the bus with the driver, and no one was hurt.

Cars were not meant to be driven in those conditions. All you can do is replace your all-years with snow tires, get a sturdy four-wheel drive and proceed slowly (probably wouldn't hurt to take a winter driving course, either). When worse comes to worst, find somewhere to crash until the roads are better.

I'm in Brooklyn Park. I can see the ice forming on the bushes outside my window and people on the other side of the building saw an accidnet of 2 cars going off in the ditch.




I HATE having to drive to the suburbs for work. This is when it's NOT worth it.

The weather is so messed up everywhere!

It's beginning to look a mite like Christmas. I'm glad we're finally getting some snow, but I'm also very happy I don't have to drive in it. I drove around on some errands this morning while it was raining and that was stressful enough. These are a few pictures I just snapped from my back porch. The high rise in the background of the third picture is where those blasted poor folk live.

Snow is coming down SUPER heavy now. It's gonna take me hours to get home, if I even make it.
