Burger King

McDonalds, a week ago. Quarter Pounder meal.

I still crave McDonalds, but I enjoy it less & less.

I got a HiC Orange Drink from McDonalds when I was roadtripping back in September.



Yeah, I think that's it. I basically never eat at fast food restaurants when I'm home.

Aside from fast food, does the smell of meat gross you out?

It depends. Fresh cooked homemade stuff, not so much.

REALLY strong barbecue stank - puke city.

Steakhouses? Not a good smell.

But I dunno...if someone makes sloppy joes or a meat-based casserole or something that has a lot of other ingredient smells going on, I'm usually not terribly bothered by it.

The fast food smell is yucky, but it's because of the grease in the air, not the meat specifically (for me).

You know what smell really grosses me out? EGGS. I don't think I ever thought they smelled good, but now that I don't eat them, I find the smell to be absolutely nauseating. I'd rather take a big whiff of a steakhouse any day.

Some of those burger joints smell good (I'm not a vegetarian) but like you say, they're so greasy, smokey, and the smell is so strong, I feel dirty just driving past them.

Same thing goes for Taco Bell. If I eat something from there, I can smell it for the rest of the day. I have to run home and brush my teeth and take a shower to get that stench off me.

yeah, with fast food joints, it's not so much the meat smell that bothers me either, but some kinda greasy, chemical, somethingorother that i can feel cling to my skin like some kind of grunge.

They stopped making them here cause they have, like, 100 grams of fat. But they're sooooo yummy! I have one (or two ) every time I'm in the UK.

Saturday....I actually ate out twice. I had fried oysters,fries, and a sweet tea from this place called The Dixie ( I know.....so country sounding, but they are good as hell). they're a local diner that's been around for years. Really late that night , I had Waffle House's pecan waffles, grits, and bacon. Now I have a taste for some deviled crabs and fried clams from Captain D's. I might get some tonight. It's a toss up between that and some fried rice and steamed broccoli from this Japanese place called Fuji.
