as for buying something that was tampered with, well sometimes if the packaging is damaged you can get a good discount, I know I always ask if the box is torn, and since it didn't have the charger, it was obviously a returned item, probably marked down quite a bit. damn I guess the stores need to check the electronics when they get them back.
