It 25 degrees here, 6 to 10 inches of snow by the afternoon, 25 - 30 mile winds with 50 mph gusts.

I've got shopping to do, packages to send, and friends to visit.

SNOW SUCKS!

I would love it if it started to snow about 1:00 p.m. on 12/24, continued lightly overnight, and was all gone by 5:00 a.m. on 12/26.

Like my friends the Nity Gritty Dirt Band say,

"The closest thing 2 heaven on this planet, anywhere
Is a quiet Christmas morning in the Colorado snow"

But beyond that morning, its for the birds!!!

At least it gives me time to org it up!

Here in Boston it's been 50 and 60 degrees most days, and we've had no snow other than one day of flurries. Extremely unusual.

Boston winters were the worst. I worked at the Loews Nickelodeon theater on Comm Ave. When I closed on weekend nights, sometimes I would miss the last T and have to walk from 700 Comm. Ave. to my apartment at 1066. Holy fuck, the wind felt like frozen shards off glass were slicing apart my face. I'm SOOOO glad I gave no thought whatsoever to winter when I was choosing schools, or I would have missed out on beantown.
