I'm going back home for the holidays tomorrow and I'm trying to pack right now. It sucks. I HATE IT!!! I spent all day doing the Christmas shopping thing, then had to take care of the 7 puppies and their mom that all live in my garage, and have dinner with my cousin. I'm exhausted and now I have to pack. I wish I was rich and could have someone do it for me.

Anyone else hate packing? Anyone have fun packing ideas?

I hate packing as well. I can't think of anything that could possibly make it fun.

I'm trying to pack to move next week.

Off topic but what kind of puppies are they?

Hate packing. If I had to travel anywhere, I'd just take my laptop and a carry-on with one change of clothes.

Thankfully, I live in the Caribbean so I can leave them in the backyard with their mom and they can play for most of the day. I can't imagine having them in the house with my two dog hating cats and my roommate's feral cat.

I'm supposed to be packing right now too. I've been procrastinating since I got home from work at 9pm. Not because I hate packing per se, but because I don't want to go "home for the holidays." It is really stressful and depressing for me there and I got in a huge fight with my mother about it last night.

Packing is fun...

it's like an invatory of your most useable items.

Don't forget the extra set of clean draws.

I like packing if I'm going somewhere on vacation....somewhere exciting, but I when I stayed on campus I used to hate packing to come home. I never really took much to school, because I wanted my packing to be less hectic as possible. It always seemed like I'd accumulate shit throughout the semester though. One semester I even tried to pack without boxes.....I just had a bunch of shit thrown into my car. Mind you a Corolla doesn't have the biggest trunk space either. After that I vowed to buy moving boxes.....and it made things 100 times easier and organized. I didn't make as many trips back to my car and I had a lot of space left in my car. Whenever I did pack to come home, I would always listen to my stereo. Music helps me in pretty much any situation. The worst packing situation for me was being on campus and coming home for the summer when everything in the apartment had to be out. Having to sign out with R.As and negotiate with roommates about who was in charge of what. Thank god I don't have to deal with that shit anymore. Have a safe trip home.
