Why does every CABLE SHOW have GAY in it?

Now they had to have a gay jihadist on SLEEPER CELL , complete full ass shots
and over the top humping.

(maybe now the org will watch the freakin show)

It's not like the old days, when there was a straight guy on EVERY show.

if it's not the gays, it's those people of color showing up on every show. turn on the tv these days, and it's as if straight white people don't even exist! and this kind of upsets me, because some of my best friends are straight and white, and i hate to see them marginalized. nobody chooses how they're born, they can't help it. sad

I miss the days when white people used to paint slant lines on their eyes with makeup and play Asians with indiscernible accents. sigh

oh man, my mom used to watch that show RELIGIOUSLY. i remember watching a few episodes, but i think it was a little gritty and mature for my tastes at the time. i was more of a 'square pegs' kinda guy back then.

as long as 1 in 10 of every character on TV is gay, I'll feel well represented, smile

Seriously though, I think gay characters kinda stand out unnecessarily right now because they were never commonplace on TV, thats all.

in our pop culture evolution, we've passed beyond the 'guess who's coming to dinner' phase ("oh my GOD...he's GAY!"), and with the passing of 'will and grace' and 'queer eye', i'd like to think we've passed through our 'good times'/'jeffersons' phase ("OMFG, he's GAY - GO GIRL!") and hopefully we're about to enter our 'welcome back kotter' phase ("OMFG, he's gay, puerto rican and jewish - AND HE'S A BAD STUDENT!").

there was a time when that lady was on EVERY sitcom. she was on 'all in the family' and 'the odd couple' and 'laverne and shirley' and a bunch of stuff i'm sure i don't even remember. there'd be no '70s tv without her! what was her name, betty garrett or something like that?

not to get all kirstie alley on your ass, but look who's talking too!

just because you're going on hetero holiday this month doesn't mean we've forgotten your position as the org's year 'round penultimate gravitational pull of gayness, you know!
