Well, I know for sure that I want a dog someday but I'm still on the fence about the chillen' I love animals and I'm studying to be a veterinarian. I have two cats and right now I'm taking care of 7 puppies and their mother. I'm finding that I really like adult animals much better than the babies, just as I like adult humans better than children. I don't hate children just as I don't hate puppies but I'm just not one of those people who wants to be around them 24/7. I know for a fact that I will love any children I have to the extreme but really...babies of any species are a ton of work and can be incredibly frustrating to deal with. Both of my cats came to me pretty close to being full grown and I think that I like it that way better. If I ever get a dog, he or she will probably be an adult dog from a shelter as opposed to a puppy. | |
