i love john waters' story about when pink flamingos got a limited theatrical rerelease a few years back and the next theater over was playing 'anna karenina' and during a really tender love scene, you could hear "OH MY GOD, SOMEONE HAS SENT ME A BOWEL MOVEMENT!"  | |

is this the one were devine gives the dude head? i woke up one night and i saw that scene and was like, WTF?
but then fell back to sleep...so now im not sure if it was a real movie or if i dreamed it... is it real? Space for sale... | |

I've heard his movies can be sooooo bad, that they're good. 
I guess, you could liken hollywood to be a calm and suttle still life scene, and his movies to be a dirty pair of underwear that totally changes the picture.

It's an awful movie. Seriously, I'm one of the few that never got it and never will. I'm not disturbed by it, just incredibly bored. Oddness alone does not make a movie worthwhile or interesting. | |

Speaking of Waters, I found A Dirty Shame in a bargain bin and bought it mostly because of Selma Blair. I still haven't been able to bring myself to actually watching it though, partly out of fear that it won't be so bad that it's good but rather so bad that it's terrible, which is sometimes the case with his movies. | |
