the PSP is anything but dead dude. rolleyes lol

uh huh dont trust someone who works in the industry and sees the figures day in and day out...

its dead...about to be buried...

i'd respect sony if they didnt rip every good idea Sega/Nintendo & M$ have had over the last 10 years...and then call it "new" and have the casuals fall for it..

Its like somebody saying "Oh i like that NEW song, 'when doves cry' by X cover artist"...when the original is oh-so superior...

Sony gaming is like McGaming for the masses...and im suprised to see Prince fans playing such cr*p...i spose we arent all looking for something diffrent and original then...

ZOMG the same game i played 10years ago looks better now! sheesh...

um, the neo geo pocket and Ngauge were failures. The PSP still sells, less than the DS, yes, it also costs more. There is an active and LARGE community for it. It will continue to sell. It's far from dead in my opinion.

You're so wrong that I wonder if you're being serious. Are you joking?
Sony gaming is NOT McGaming. That would be Nintendo. Only serious gamers are going to shell out $600 for a console.
Sony has not ripped off Nintendo. The PS2 is still the most successful gaming console ever.
Oh, and very often cover songs are far superior to the originals. Not to mention that "better" is purely subjective and doesn't really support your case at all.

Actually, the PSP is more powerful than the Nintendo DS.
And the PS3 is the most powerful of the 3 systems.

The reason why I prefer the DS is the game titles, and the way Nintendo approached the DS. Instead of emulating their console, they understood it was a portable, and thus needed to provide a different experience from what you get on the main system. Games like Suduko, their various brain builders, and the like round off the DS in ways that the PSP's silly movie feature can't.

As for main consoles, my main disapproval of the PS3 is the insane price. 599 is way way too much for a game system IMO. Sure, there are going to be plenty of folks who are willing to pay for it, but there are also plenty of people more pragmatic and not willing to shell out that much money on a gaming console. However, in Sony's defense, being able to play a blue ray movie on the system for hundreds less than other blue ray players on the market is kind of cool I guess.

The PS3 may seem pricey, but Sony is still losing money on the consoles. I got that from CNN.com, though I know I should site the source. It's not too outrageous, when you consider (like you said) the high price of HD and B-R players right now, and that you'll prolly have the PS3 for about 10 years. Plus, consider all you can do with it, like surf the internet from your couch (great if you have a big HD tv).

I have 2 PS3s sitting right here, but I'm reselling them on eBay. I'll wait until summer to get one for myself, when there are more games available the glitches are ironed out.

We played Wii all night, and it is alot of fun. Even golf. Tennis is my favorite of the Wii sports. Zelda is cool, but I haven't actually fought anything. I'm a little afraid of the motion sensor stuff when it comes to fighting bosses and stuff.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I'm totally limited in decisions here. I know I can't afford $600 for the PS3 and would like to wait until they work out admitted glitches. The Wii looks cool, but I can't afford $300 for that and get a PS3!

I want both! mad

Get the Wii now, and the PS3 later when there are more games and stuff.
