I do not enjoy waiting for merchandise to arrive in the mail, especially with the added pressure of a fixed date like December 25 looming.

Too many people still have issue with being able to pick up and hold an item they are buying. It's a textile thing.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I would shop more online if I didn't live in an apartment. It's a bit of a hassle getting my packages. Some of the carriers won't leave it at my door, they leave a ticket and I have to drive all the way to their delivery station to pick it up. Other times they'll leave it with my landlord, and I'm at work when their office is open, so I have to leave work to get my packages.

Reincarnate

I did most of my shopping online but I am going out today to have a look at what's around. I love walking around the shops at Christmastime, particularly later in the day when all the lights are on.

I don't find it that big a hassle, maybe I'm just used to it by now. I always keep the wrapping/boxing until I know I definitely want it. I always have packing tape in the house & most of the places I shop @ have the easy return label which is pretty cheap thumbs up!

Me too. I used to only order books online, but even with that, I enjoy bookstores so much that it's silly to do online. Now I only shop online for things I can't find readily in stores here. And that's not often.

falloff

I try to buy EVERYTHING online, not just for the holidays either. I think the only things I buy at brick and mortar stores are food and clothes, but I even buy a large chunk of clothes online too. Hell, I even get my prescriptions in the mail.

If I could just find a Mr. Nice Guy like in "Half Baked", I'd be SET
