Where's the BEST place to find SCENTED Candles?

I love candles.
They evoke both a calming and sexy atmosphere in any room.

But I also love aroma. And I find that the Yankee Candle Store has some of the best, most flavor fully scented candles around. But I don't like the style of their candles so much. Too country looking. I like sofphisticated or rustic looking candles.

I buy my candles from 4 places: Pier 1 Imports, Cost Plus World Market, Bath & Body Works, and the afforementioned Yankee Candles. I love candles, however I prefer the scents of tart burners. You should really get one of those Dan, they make your house smell great and women dig em alot!

ok, serious answer: i get all my nice candles at macy's (i SO want to say marshall fields sad ) - i love the archipelago candles, especially the tobacco and bergamot scent. it smells like a room full of old books and i love it.

i also have a favorite candle made by blue mountain that smells like coffee and has actual coffee beans in the candle. i can only find it at a shop in NYC called SNIFF, but it's worth picking up one or two whenever i visit, cuz they're the only candles i've found that REALLY smell like fresh brewed coffee when ya burn 'em. cuz, you know, sometimes i can't be bothered to brew the real stuff.

yupyup. kinda leathery, but kinda like old book smell in general. like old yellowed pages. but without that quality that screws up your sinuses. it's a very warm, kinda dark scent. not perfumey at all. very nice and relaxing.
