One item I keep looking for but haven't yet seen on a market is a radio.

I'm looking for a boom-box type radio, that would act as a jukebox. I'd like a radio with the speakers attached, that would have a CD player and a FM reciever, but with something new in it.

I think it would be great to have a harddrive in a radio of that type that could act as a jukebox holding all your CD collection in MP3 form.

Have you ever seen one of these anywhere?

I'm not talking about the type that serve as a docking station to an ipod or like minded walk-man type mp3 player.

Yeah had already thought that idea needed trademarking, but it seems so simple that I don't think it does. After all, it's just a bunch of technologies that already exist.

As for wishing me good luck, thanks. However I scoured the internet, and I can't find a single one in production. Am I just crazy or doesn't it seem that is something that should already exist?

I'd like it to be able to rip the cds if you put them into the attached cd player. I'd also like to be able to download files from my computer onto it. All they seem to have is the classic ipod type mp3 players, and docking stations that surve as the boombox part. Seems crazy to me that there isn't one that is a boombox or at least rack type component.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me?
