Xcellent topic!
think we would be free... We all live on this planet together... but yet... there are many worlds within our world. We are in our own little world. We are separated by religions, race, politics, etc. we should be free to find the beauty that exists in the rest of the world, thus finding compassion, understanding and respect for ALL living things. Then by doing so, we find !

***** That's a good one Shausler, and true. Here's another: "Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror. But you are eternity and you are the mirror." Kahlil Gibran ***** [This message was edited Tue Sep 3 9:36:19 PDT 2002 by EchoOfMySoul]

i think sometimes the true beauty of the world can only be appreciated through the eyes of a todger. only a todger can see with true innocence and unspoiled appreciation the beauty and the glory that is the world around us.
you can learn a lot from a todger.

It's doesn't set you free because not everything in life is beautiful.
Just like pain in your foot warns to thread carefully if there's broken glass on the floor, seeing what is ugly protects what is beautiful in you. If you've been around people who tried to exploit you, you know how important it is to spot dishonesty. Lucidity is paramount, Though it's true a great attitude toward life and all it has to offer is a must, by itself it doesn't set you free you from what others or the elements might inflict on you. If a tornado comes toward you, will you stand there and admire its beauty or will you flee for cover? Personally, I'd get out of the way first.

"For the conscious mind is cripple' there for it is difficult to tell what true beauty is.. and like my name Navah the Buddaphliii = meaning to become beautiful and free! so that means I can't be brought, haaa You see Beauty is beyond skin deep it is unconscious. It sets me free if the beauty is natural creation. If this beauty is artificial I can become a slave.
