Thanksgiving is just another damn day to me so am i the only one who feels this way??? when i was younger it was so exciting, but now its just another day off to me...especially when i have to work on the biggest shopping day of the year, the day after Thanksgiving. you get stuffed, help clean up, watch the football game, fall asleep, wake up and eat again, then try to find something else to do in a last ditch effort to avoid boredom.

I've never gotten that excited about thanksgiving, but I feel that same way about Christmas now and it's depressing.  | |

I feel that way about all holidays now.
The only ones I get remotely excited about are New Years Eve (but only a tad bit), and July 4th. | |

i love the holidays. i cook alot for thanksgiving and after that me and the boys make cookies and cakes. i dig in my art supplies and the boys make paper ornaments out of lots of messy glue and glitter for the christmas tree. sometimes they make christmas stuff and stick it on the walls  (yes i let them do this). we have a ball. i get bummed out after new years and all thats left is cold ass winter.  | |

I'm so bored by all the holidays. I like Thanksgiving though, mostly because it's a good excuse to stuff myself beyond my normal capacity and gain ten pounds in one evening  HE'S COMING AGAIN | |

I am looking forward to this Thanksgiving - parts of it will be difficult due to changes within my life... first real holiday without a person that I have spent the last ten Thanksgivings with. It will be an adjustment but I vow to make the best of it | |

I feel the same way about the holidays they're just like any other day to me except for birthdays those I do make a big deal about those because it's specific to the person but Thanksgiving, Christmas and all the others I got nothin for 'em. | |
