Traditionally I've needed to be clubbed over the head before I could believe anyone was possibly interested in me.

I'm starting to feel more open to those feelings--like it's completely normal for people to be interested in each other, where before it seemed like an absolute miracle.

men yes. women no. i've had women flirt with me, help me with the door or carry things for me. it never occurred to me they had an interest in me until their friends told me so. I just thought they were being nice just to be nice.
