I thought I was the only one like that. But by far I think its worse to think that everyone is into you or that you are hot shit when you are not. I know someone like that. A male can just say hello and she acts like they asked her on a date confused

Those people are truly annoying.

they're the same ones who think they can approach me at a general admission concert and bat their eyes at me, and i'll fall under their spell and let them stand in front of me. girls who think i'm straight just because i'm at a rock concert are SO precious. giggle

Wishful thinking has (mis)led me to a few awkward situations I wish never again to repeat, so now if ever it seems someone may be interested in me, I assume it to be only my imagination. biggrin

I know what ya mean. There are so many girls that will be nice to you just so you will help them with something or get something from you. And you think they like you. Then you wise up. It's hard to find genuine ones.

if someone introduces themselves to you by way of expecting you to do something for them, chances are they don't like you for you.

anyway, presumptuous = turnoff.

i'll do nice things for strangers, but it's because i want to. not because someone's batting their eyes and i think i have a chance with them. i'm more prone to help a morbidly obese person in a wheelchair than i am to help some hottie giving me the cow eyes.

We wouldn't have to have this damn thread if everyone would just come out and be honest and tell the person they are interested in them or want them.

mac n'cheese and betty. mr.green

but seriously, even honesty gets misconstrued so that statement's pretty moot.
