I need help with a ROMANTIC BOOK.

OK.

I need add some romance into something that I'm writing, but I hate romance so much that I absolutely don't know where to start.

Can somebody recommend a book with very well written romantic passages in it? I'm not talking porn or just your standard cheesy romance novel, but something truly inspiring.

thanks.

How about:
"Don't play with my hair.", he said as she ran her fingers playfully over his still rain damp body.
Gently she kiss his eyelids, then his cheeks just before he lift his mouth for a long wet kiss.
"Ain't no hair down there Cheeky" she said.
The next morning neither could remember how they round up on the kitchen table, but there they were.

The romance has to fit with the rest of the story.
Who are the characters? What brings them together?
Is it a light hearted story or serious?

Cinjun Wildermouth - main character. He discoveries that he's able to read peoples minds after they've executables some action. In other words, he can't hear their words, but he's able to sense what a person's motivations are after they've done something.

Derick Smith - Cinjun's best friends and sometimes lover. Derick is as outgoing as Cinjun is introverted. Derick is always stoned. I can't decide yet if he has a drug problem shrug

Gener (no last name mentioned) - she's a love interest of Cinjun, and extremely distrusted by Derick.

Story starts off at night near a seedy gay bar in the 800 district of Key West on Duvall street.

The whole thing driving the movie is that Cinjun reads an occult book by a famous author of sorts (in the occult) which he hopes sheds light on his abilities. He's always felt lost.

The book will go through a series of movements (it's a coming of age, adventure book about self-discovery). One overall theme in the book is that grownups are no better off than children are in their quest for the truth.

By the time Cinjun has landed on the doorstep of the author and had a chance to speak with her, he finds that she's really just as lost as he is, and that her "Beliefs" as written in the book are largely founded on "hope" moreso than any intrinsic knowelege.

So after Cinjun has sex he can find out what his partner is think. That's more more important than the sex itself. Was it because nothing was on tv, out of loneliness, love or lust? Elude to the romance since it's not really your thing and put you energy in to the aftermath.

Yes. Cinjun's parents are cold and distant, and he's able to slip away for days at a time without them knowing.

He's able to determine what his mother's every action is. He knows she's been living a lie of sorts (She's been cheating on his father, who is addicted to Internet porn).

Anyways, none of the characters are "whole" in the book. None of true moral fiber.

An interesting sub-plot would be the main character having chance encounters with a man or woman who's last action is motivation for the next, good or bad. This character doesn't even need a name. I think the would be a great illustration of the power of choices.

Spelling edit, too much time around AB.
