I'm crushing majorly right now, but at least now that I'm older, I realize if anything is to come of it, then I simply have to be patient and let things run their course as they are meant to.

Gurrrl, please! That's the kind of stuff that will make you pull out old blues & soul albums. This WILL be a holiday seaon filled w waaay too much Dorothy Moore, Millie Jackson, Johnny Taylor, anybody else that wants to whine and moan all damned day about LUUUUUV-sickness! lol Patti made some good luuuv-sick songs too back in the day, remember If Only You Knew? '...I must have rehearsed my linnnes, a thousand times...until I had them ME-MO-RIZED.....'

Note to self: this week pull out my old copy of Prince's 'Another Lonely Christmas', & savor it with bannana daquari in with my sad assed lovesick self
