Today's question - this thing called life

What's your general attitude towards life.

I think life is unfair, but if you cry over it, it just get's worst.

It teaches us lessons we have to learn for a reason.

I don't argue with it anymore.

Life isn't about what others do you, it's about how you deal with what others do to you.

when i frame the events of my life as lessons, life seems very fair. not always fun, not always immediately understandable, but fair.

there's only the now. everything else is mind- and ego-created.

and greed is the cause of all suffering.

What's your general attitude towards life.

life is short ...play hard

spend time daily setting intentions and co creating happiness

dwell on tough lessons only long enough to grow from them , release them and create space in your life for more positive things to fill the void

love... love some more...love even more

I think life is an opportunity to use the gifts we've been given. Sometimes circumstances make that difficult, which is why I think nobody's efforts should be measured against anything other than their own personal challenges. For example, if a poor and starving African in a war-torn country manages to keep his children alive and healthy, then I think that's a greater accomplishment than if a million-dollar heir donates money and thereby saves the lives of thousands. Of course the heir never asked to be born into a wealthy life so you could argue that it's not fair to ask more of him than of the African, but as Spiderman says: with great power comes great responsibility, and that applies regardless where the power comes from or how justified it is.

My attitude towards life is this:

Don't piss around or you'll miss the train!

But also...

It's never too late for ANYTHING

Also...

In this day and age anything is achievable- but you gotta make it happen!

And subsequently...

Life doesn't hand the good things in life to you on a silver platter- you gotta go out there, work for it and don't stop till you get it!

and so...

Never give up!

woot! LOL. Life can be great but it's true, it is never fair...how many times do i feel like life is mucking me about... it's like 'there you go...just kidding!' lol confused but as frustrating as that is- while you can't control what goes on around you, you CAN (with time and alot of self guidance) try and change the way you percieve them and turn them into potential positives! Not easy. Not easy at all, but you know when you have those moments when you really need a miracle or a genie with 3 wishes- you can at least do that for yourself so while you think life really sucks for that moment- you know you can count on yourself when your in that moment. If that makes any sense. (This is why i'm good to have around when someone is having a massive panic attack- i know how to talk em out of it! nod )
No hablo espanol,no! no no no!
Pero hablo ingles..ssii muy muy bien... nod

I don't know. One day I'll say life is all about pain and torture and agony and the next I'll say it's all just a big party.
I guess I just try to treat people nice, help others when I can and have as much fun as possible.

The old glass half empty or half full question?

hmmm

Most days I think....

The glass is either half empty and leaking or half full of poison.

I'm trying to change my ways.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Life is simply for living...some aspects you control; other aspects control you...All you can do is try to make the most of it...learn from mistakes and pass on what you've learned, enjoy and relish the good times and create good times too...I agree with ZombieKitten that your outlook may influence your outcome...so take life by the horns and accept it for what it is...a gift

Life is the best thing that has ever happened to me. i've had many lows and highs but i don't care. i'm just happy to be able to experience all the pleasures that come with it. 100 years from now my itty bitty life and problems won't mean a thing to the egocentric masses-but all that matters is the here and now-and i want to make the most of it nod

i think of this lyric

chicago

Written by Robert Lamm
Lead Vocals by Robert Lamm

When I'm with you, it doesn't matter where we are, or what we're doing
I'm with you, that's all that matters

Time passes much too quickly when we're together laughing
I wish I could sing it to you, oh no
I wish I could sing it to you

Oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Mostly I'm silent, mm-hm-hm-hm...Silent, la la la la la
Never think of the right words to say

When I kiss you, I feel a thousand different feelings
The color of chills all over my body, yeah, yeah, yeah

And when I feel them, I quickly try to decide which one
I should try to put into words, oh no, try to put into words

Oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Mostly I'm silent...Silent...La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la...Silent...

Only the beginning of what I want to feel forever
Yeah, oh, oh, whoa
Yes, only the beginning of what I want to feel forever
Only the beginning, only just the start, yeah
I've got to get you into my life mama, I've got to get you next to me
Only the beginning, only just the start
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah...Mmm-hmmm...

Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...
Only the beginning...Only the beginning...[fade]

my attitude towards life is just to live every day as it comes... I've learnt to not take anything or anyone for granted and that includes not letting your loved ones forget how much they mean to you.
