HamsterHuey

This, the fourth of a series of five, is almost finished. This is the third time I am reading this; it is one of the most exciting SF series I have ever read.
The characters all flawed, on a road to ruin; the entire world as they knew it turned upside down.
Two rival pirates and one space cops ensign, tangled up in a story of action and violence.
Great read.

Teacher

I'm reading a non-fiction swedish book by Jan Guillou on the witch hunts in Europe during the 1600's, specifically (of course) oriented on the swedish incidents of which there were many. disbelief After that it's either Dean Koontz "Chase" or the first in a series of historical novels by swedish author Olov Svedelid, haven't decided yet. "Chase" is a slim read but I'm a sucker for historical shit too.
Neither of the swedish ones have been translated into English and never will. Pity, for the witch book is really good and deals with Norway, Denmark, England and the Catholic Inquisition as well.

Herzog on Herzog

nice. i'll have to find this. i bet it's a lotta laffs.

Yeah, he's a fascinating and (sometimes unintentionally) funny guy for sure. Age hasn't affected his flamboyant ways in the slightest. There's also a lot of truth in many things he says although he's infamous for going off on weird tangents sometimes. And he has so many stories to tell! His life seems to have been one long adventure.

Just finished this. Very quick, very good read.

And, last night, I started writing a story. Haven't decided the scope (short story, novel, screenplay) but I'm digging it.

I just finished "weave world" from Clive Barker, and now I'm reading "Sphere" from Michael Crichton.
