Dayum!!! What you currently reading?

I am reading Cupcake Brown's book - A Piece Of Cake

OMG OMG.. anyone else read this? Care to share? I am near to the end but have thorughly enjoyed reading it.. her style of writing is so cool, and you really feel for her.. I am deeply engrossed..

this magazine has such long articles, it might as well be a book. love it. so far, i'm reading an interesting story about the underground scandal rag newspaper The St. Louis Evening Whirl. Good stuff - the article is actually online at the magazine's web site: www.believermag.com (or else, it was last time i checked) - good stuff. thumbs up!

I went in my old bedroom and for some reason found myself thumbing through the 'Idiot's Guide To Martial Arts'. It's funny the books I used to read. Everything in my room is just as it was 5 years ago too. lol

Despite all the books I recently mentioned on my "short list" I started reading "The Jewel in The Crown" by Paul Scott and I'm really enjoying it.

A perfect project for this time of year and it'll make good plane reading.

Not a damned thing, aside from my textbooks.

and tonight I went to the bookstore to get books for my bookclub list, but ended up with:


Duchamp a new Taschen book with essays by Janis Mink

The Fate of Africa by Martin Meredith


Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller (okay that's on the bookclub list...)

I just finished "Dial M - the Murder of Carol Thompson" which is about a murder that happened in the 60's in St. Paul which is still a real big deal here.
