I kinda think I know what you're saying - I've been "in love" w/ a friend before in the sense that we were really close, I liked them a lot & just wanted to be around them but not in a sexual way at all. I guess I adored them as a person, but I wouldn't call it "lust" - to me "lust" is pretty sexual... or should be   I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! I kinda think I know what you're saying - I've been "in love" w/ a friend before in the sense that we were really close, I liked them a lot & just wanted to be around them but not in a sexual way at all. I guess I adored them as a person, but I wouldn't call it "lust" - to me "lust" is pretty sexual... or should be I mean like you like this person a whole lot, and love to  them, and have the best time together, but you know you're not meant for each other really, and you certainly don't dream of a future together.
