You can use the EMBED HTML tag (Goggle it) if you know where the song file resides.


Or you can search their myspace music section. If you find a song or band you like, they their player has an "add" feature that's really simple.

The OBJECT HTML tag, which most of the time is preferable, seems to leave residual junk on your screen if you use it.

I know it will be tempting, but unless there is a compelling reason, don't add music to your space! And none of those aanoying background pics that make it hard to see the text. Oh and NO crap flying all over the place. Keep it simple!

Replace the "value of your file URL" value in the code with the source url of the file you want to embed.

The example the used put alot of variables in there you don't need, but that's ok.

There are different websites that have pre-designed pages and all you have to do is copy and paste the HTML code into your profile page. I used pimp-my-profile.com

DON"T DO IT unless you contact the band and get permission.. It is stealing and they will find out. My friend is engaged to a musician who posts videos on her page all the time. Myspace definitely checks up on them. The funny thing was the one they were most interested in was one of her boyfriend''s and Myspace asked all the band members if they knew she had the vid up and if they wanted to prosecute her. It's more their page than hers by now so they thought it was funny. When he posts other artists videos, he always pays for the rights.
