probably my aunt gail, who i haven't seen since i was little and who has kind of disappeared from the family over the last decade. she was the only relative i had growing up who talked to me like i was a bit of an adult, and i really apprecated it. | |

I guess my mom would be my number one.
My siblings and I are all pretty close, but I would say I am closest to my youngest brother...so he's a close second. We dealt with some drama a few years ago that put a strain on our relationship and unfortunately, we're just not as close as we used to be. It kind of makes me sad when I think about it as the change between us was all because of my stupid selfishness.  | |

My great Aunt Ellie..... I called her moments before she died.... I am her in most ways that I know of... her features her heart... the fact that I had a biracial family was hid from that end... ( In my youth I exclaimed I am not trying to change the world but live my life) anywho, I called her on the random whilst pregnant with my son..... told her the whole truth as she was on her deathbed... a bit to naive to understand in totality that she was infact at that point..... so I told her like I revealed the darkest secret of all time to which she countered...Karen, do you know I marched with Martin Luther when he was in San Bernardino? I helped to arrange his walk..... I wanted to see her but she assured me she was to sick to go to the door and unlock the gate.. she passed soon after.... It was then I knew I gathered a lot of Lowe DNA over McDonald.... | |

It's a tie between my younger sister (only one for that matter) and my niece Tyra. My sister because we're so close now even though I was a right terror to her when we were kids, and because she has given me Tyra. And Tyra because....she's Tyra! Here she is with the stroller my mum gave her for her 2nd bday in November.

As for me, it's my older sis. When she's not being too preachy she makes me laugh so much & she's always ALWAYS there for me when I need her no matter what it is  I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it | |

Mine used to be my aunt and my dad, but they both passed away some years ago. So now it's my niece.
