The horse was actually kind of a diva. Romey. He was such an Arab. Really pissy. But I loved him.

I certainly wouldn't have said that then. I was painfully shy and hadn't found my fashion sense yet and had bad red hair and freckles and I thought I was ugly and had absolutely no self-esteem.

At 12 I was realizing that my "best" friends were really not very nice people, but b/c there were only 25 people in my grade if you weren't friends with the "popular" girls they would make your life hell. (Heathers anyone?)

I was very smart/got good grades but got into a lot of trouble for talking back to the teachers because I was always bored in class. I think I probably got sent to the principal's office a couple times that year.

I was on the jr. high volleyball, basketball, track, & softball teams; but only excelled at basketball.

The highlight of my 12 year existence was probably getting contacts!

I loved Wham and Iowa Hawkeye basketball. I hated my "friends."

i'm only 21 but i have a really hard time remembering much about my childhood. i have flashbacks all the time recently though and things are starting to return to me. i remember when i was around 12 i was just getting into metal, my best friend and i would throw wrestling matches where we would jump off houses, ladders, and used weapons like skateboards, crowbars, pieces of wood or metal, whatever we could find. It was good times.

What did you do? i hid from boys, i drew anime (primarily sailor moon) and read about planets and zodiac signs, i loved the spice girls, and dreamed about being in ancient egypt...
What did you like and dislike? i hated my appearance, i loved my room, i liked sailor moon, i hated being in public, i hated that i had ugly glasses and had to get braces, i liked being alone - no pain.
