I liked Manhunt, Blow Out & Work Out too lol

Here's one I bet nobody watched but me - it was on the WE channel (women's entertainment or some shit) - Single in the City. Basically followed around a bunch of women in various states of dating - newly divorced, been dating a while, ready to get married, etc. Took place in NY, and they did a summer in the Hamptons special once. It was interesting smile

oh, i loved that show - what a great guilty pleasure! lol

Really? I had no idea. On what grounds were their suits based?

I wouldn't say it is my fave, but I'm wondering what on earth happened to "Love is in the Heir" on the E channel. It was about a European princess living in the US who was trying to become a country singer. If she didn't have a career get married by a certain age, her father was going to cut her off financially. I always wondered if she was a real princess, because I don't think they ever said what country she was from. Not to mention, her boyfriend on the show was supposed to be a personal trainer, but I'm sure he's really an actor because I've seen him in other things. It was all very fishy. Reality my ass!

Yea, I'd really like to know too. I had no idea that's why the show went away. WTF?? I bet it was public embarrassment or some dumb shit they did after they were feeling all fantastic but their lives still didn't go the way they wanted it to, so they sued as if things were better before. Shouldn't they have thought about that before they agreed to do the show? Don't they all have the opportunity to say "no"?? neutral

There was a segment on either Access Hollywood or Extra not too long ago, but the show turned out to be a public relations nightmare.

Recently, one contestant's sister committed suicide shortly after they were un-invited from the show :: NY Daily News: 'Extreme' tragedy: 'Ugly' mom sues ABC for nixing makeover http://www.nydailynews.co...6543c.html

Blowout with Jonathon

this guy was all ego

He tries so hard to be "macho" and tough but cries at the drop of a hat. My fave episode is when he was judging his sister's Pussycat Doll auditions and he did some poplock moves...

I had a big crush on his assistant (don't remember her name).

A tv critic called him Patrick Swayze with a blowdryer smile

DAMN!!! sad That's fucked UP!! I can't believe these producers - I'm sure if they tried hard enough they could juggle some things around & just air her story in the following season or save it as a special show (people were eating that show up @ the time) nod But no, they just drop her. DAMN that's some cold shit, I can't blame them for suing at all. The guilt her sister must have felt! disbelief

AsylumUtopia

We seem to be remarkably good at inventing really crap things in Ireland, like our pointless spike in the centre of Dublin (affectionately known as 'the stiletto in the ghetto'), and the clock they put in the river Liffey which was supposed to count down the seconds to the millennium (affectionately known as 'the time in the slime'), only to be removed a few weeks later as it was so covered in algae that it could no longer be seen, and no money had been allocated to cleaning it.

Our sheer genius when it comes to daft ideas, I am pleased to say, also extends to the world of reality television shows.

One such debacle was 'Celebrity Farm' in which 8 C-list celebrities were stuck on a farm for a week, challenged to build a house from bales of hay, shovelled shite to earn their dinner and so forth. Could have been good, but it seems like they just gathered some vaguely famous people, dumped them on a farm, and started filming with no clear idea what to do next. Unlike Ireland's viewing public who knew exactly what to do next - switch it off and find something better to watch.

My absolute favourite disastrous show was "Cabin Fever". It could only have happened in Ireland. Having learned their lesson from Celebrity Farm, they decided this time not to waste money on appearance fees, so got a bunch of ordinary people, stuck them on a sailing boat with some cameras, and got them to sail around Ireland.

The boat sank.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w..._series%29

It was truly one of the most wonderful moments in reality TV history.

The only sad thing is that it was made for Irish TV, so the rest of the world missed out, as we gleefully watched the boat smash itself to pieces on the rocks off Tory Island.

Much to our delight they got a second boat and continued the show to it's pointless but entertaining conclusion.
Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

When we (MaryAnn & Glenn in photo) met Jonathon at the Salon City 5th anniversary party in Hollywood he was a gentleman and very humble. He was the guest speaker and came across very shy. When we told him our salon is named Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body he mentioned that his Dad was from Brooklyn. Just remember boring people don't get noticed on reality shows and what you see on TV is not usually how people are. And who ever took the photo off of our website www.BrooklynAttitude.com thank you for the exposure.
