PRETTY IN PINK - REVISITED

I watched Pretty In Pink this weekend again. I had not seen it for about 10 years or so.

I can't believe GINA GERSHON has a small part in it.

I also can't believe how good the movie still is.

My favorite part has to be when Duckie is sitting on his bed listening to Morrisey "Please Please Let Me Get What I Want." That was the story of my life at the time.

I also love Duckie lip synching to Try A Little Tenderness. Hilarious.

Anyone else here enjoy this movie. What's your favorite part.

It was showing at the Uptown at midnight a Saturday or 2 ago and I wanted to go, but no one would go with me. pout

It's one of my favoritest moveis of all time. I watched it hundreds of times growing up. I just love the whole damn thing. touched

And to this day I still want that exact car she drove.

Yes, the Kharma Gia (spell?)

I've always had a crush on Blaine. I know he's a jerk in the movie but his voice drives me nuts.

This movie is the shit. This was back when they made stars out of actresses that looked like teen girls you might meet instead of 35-year-old crack-addicted street hookers.

Who was Gina Gershon in the film? I don't remember her in it smile

I think my fave part is the whole lead up to the prom - making the dress (which was pretty cute), walking in w/ that "I touch you once, I touch you twice) song playing... or did that play when he ran up to her in the parking lot? hmmm

Whatever, I dig that movie. BUT it always makes me wanna watch 16 Candles - something where I don't have to look @ Andrew McFuckingCarthy ill
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

I laughed when I saw Andrew Dice Clay in the movie. I remember him I actually thought he was kinda funny because of his chavanistic, macho, dumb image I never knew how much of an act it was but I saw some sweetness deep down in him even though in reality I hate those kinds of men.
