Oh my god.

I need to right this down while it is still fresh on my mind.



Anx, about 3 real life friends of mine, and I, were eating breakfast at "The Avalon" on Ocean Drive in South Beach. We were all complaining about the oppresive humidity that morning. Anx didn't seem to mind it so much because it beat the heat he had to endure at his factory job (I think he was working on an Auto assembly line or something in my dream).

Anyways, I had a moment of panic as I realized that my nephews were missing, and I was in charge of watching them that morning. We all scrambled up out of our seats and walked the street looking for them. After what seemed like a few minutes (you can never tell time in my dreams) Anx walked into a hotel (I believe it was the Henry, which isn't actually on Ocean drive) and claimed he found them. I followed him into the hotel and looked into a room which ended up being the hotel nursery.

There they were playing with the cutest little girl. She looked up at Anx, and smiled, and said something like "hello daddy, can I have some of your coffee?"
He was drinking Thai Iced coffee and he let her have a sip.

I'm not sure how it happenned but we were all on a train, Anx was still in the dream. And he was giving his daughter some Thai iced coffee. She wanted more and more of it. But I'm on the train (my nephews aren't in the dream at this point for some reason). Carrie and Muse are in the dream at this point, but Muse is married and expecting a child.

Anyways, the train is not enclosed. It's one of those open walled deals you ride in an amusement park, on this is a commuter train taking us through the jungles of Thailand.
I'm so thirsty at this point that I'm waiting on Anx to ask the rest of us if we wanted any Thai Iced Coffee. But he kept feeding it to his brat daughter and ignoring the rest of us.

At about that time, in the next car, the Tigers that were being caged up for the trip (yeah, my dreams make NO FUCKING SENSE), got loose. They were killing folks in the other train, and the rest of us where getting kind of nervous they'd try to hop cars and come eat us. In a panick I looked around for an escape off the train.
I couldn't find anyplace to go. We where the first car in the train and the end. There was nowhere to run. But started to calculate and I realized the old addage that when you're being chased by a wild animal, you don't have to run faster than the animal itself--just faster than the folks who are being chased with you.


I woke up at that point in hysterics. I really spend to much time on the org.



OK, finish my dream for me. What if I hadn't woken up?

I have no clue why you had a daughter in my dream. There was nothing sexual about the dream, so it wouldn't have mattered either way what your orientation was in it.

I do know that Carrie and Muse where in the dream becuase of we're going to be going to Thailand.

And the Thai Iced Coffee on the train thing is actual a flashback of my own life. One of my earliest memories is of riding a train and being allowed to sip Thai Iced coffee.

As far as the Tigers killing people, I think that's a metaphor for the threads here in this forum.

WHat's really weird though is that I think the little girl represented me. I must entertain some fantasy of being your "little girl", but the "big me" sitting beside her on the train still feels somewhat unsatisfied.

My Amateur Dream Analysis:

This dream represent your hopes and fears of the future.

You're looking forward to your travel plans for the South Beach Invasion and Thailand while dreading the fact that your best buddies nephews will be out of your sight when they move away with their parents. Thus you lost sight of them, but then was reassured that they are just fine, and will be just fine.

I think you gave Anx a daughter because you admire his gentle and caring side. There's more to Anx with a daughter here, but I'm don't have a clue what it is.

I think the train part of your dream is telling you Thailand will wonderful, but it can't be exactly like you remember when you were a kid. The thai tea is your memories, you can't re-live memories only make new ones. The tigers represent some fear you have about your trip being ruined somehow.
