christmas oranges i've just finished the last orange in my third box so far!
by christmas oranges i mean mandarins... do you buy them by the box where you are too this time of year? i am thinking that not everyone does we always call them christmas oranges - never mandarins and they are expressly tied to this time of year! it was great when you finally got a christmas orange in your lunch box they were given out with your present at christmas eve candlelight service and santa always put one in the toe of your stocking and they disappear right after christmas from the stores my mom told of being happy when the christmas oranges came because that meant instead of using a page from the catalogue in the outhouse for a while at least there were nice soft green tissue squares saved from the oranges if you are nice to me i might make an elephant for you out of the peel

I've gone through three boxes of Japanese tangerines (aka christmas oranges). They are sooooo good I'll be picking up another box from Sobey's later. Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! We get Clementines by the box. They're so good. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

My grandma (and my mom) would put the peels on the radiator to make the house smell like oranges.

i use to always get an orange in my stocking on Christmas and as a child I never appreciated it. Now i love oranges and yearn to have one in my stocking.
I tried putting an orange in my pantyhose but it was uncomfortable to walk around in. 23 more days to Ball Dangle Day!!!!!

My mom just bought a big box of oranges. I think people at work sell them. I put peppermint sticks in mine sometimes around this time of the year. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
