Plus bratty little boys to me are just They're grossing me out too. It seems that the artist is painting an undercurrent of eroticism to his subjects disguised with a thin veneer of youthful vibrancy and the usual snakes & snails and puppy dog tails elements to make it seem ambiguous. Interesting subject, but a bit gross. totally agree. Interesting, but I have to wonder about his fascination with young boys. And has anyone addressed ththe swimming pool one (boys kissing, of course) and the bra-strap tan lines on the boy with his back to us? What's that about? My Legacy

Because somehow he dares, and I feel "at home" when I watch his works... I know what you mean. I sat through the entire cremaster cycle and felt like I had finally "come home". Odd isn't it?

Strange though, changing his name to the artist formerly known as Prince was the last overtly (and great IMO) artsy thing he did, with the possible exception of TRC My Legacy

took me long enough to be on this thread. anyway, i'm not too big on the kinda stuff that's in museums and art galleries (i live nearby the walker art center in mpls, but i seldom go there anymore). however, i do love jenny holzer's work and stuff like that.

Monkey pics were here
How cute and dynamic are those faces! The orangutans are the best. One looks like he's giving a monologue. Amy Brown's artwork is very beautiful. She pays great attention to the details. Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com
