Well, I'll be damned.

I just woke up and looked out the window today. omfg

I knew we had sleeting last night and that there was some kind of crazy thunderstorm action earlier this morning.

There's like 3 inches of snow on the ground and there are mini-Slushies falling from the heavens! Who okayed THIS?!?

Wow. I need to turn on the weather forecast more often. redface

How's YOUR weather?

It's very mild here, unseasonably so.

We still have butterflies in the garden and leaves on some of our trees. I can't believe it's nearly Christmas ... usually Britain is much colder than this at this time of year.

hehe ... no, not quite, but I'm in Bedfordshire. We've still got bees and butterflies which I think's amazing for this time of year; yesterday I saw a huge Red Admiral.

I thought you were close by (I can smell you from the train). Granted, there are still leaves on my apple tree, but it was below 5 this morning there is wind and that horrible rain that gets everywhere. If the sun is shining when I get home tonight i will eat my hat!

Gloomy, rainy and dreary. The temperature is steadily falling. We're supposed to have your snowstorm by the time to drive home tonight. We still haven't gotten over the last storm yet. sad

Well, granted we did have some rain around 2 hours ago, but when I went to get my paper this morning, I put my jacket on and was too warm so I took it off on the way back.

I'd forgotten you were in Herts - that's where I used to live!
