I just started re-watching the first season also! There is definitely lots of comedy there. I plan to work my way through the entire series again over the next year.

Oh for sure. Not to mention the Big Bad is a glutton for Big Punishment. He'd annoy Angelus just to get a rise (sorry!) out of him.

Woah. eek

They made Xander look a lot more hot and a lot less, like, well, lumpy, late-series Xander.

One of these days I'll get around to buying the DVD's and do that myself. At my wages though, parting with that much money for something I've already seen numerous times makes my heart hurt just a little.

On the other hand, none of the TV channels I get play reruns anymore, so I just might have to break down and shell out the cash.

lumpy late-series Xander had a drinking problem at the time.

I read that he had checked himself into rehab after the series was over.

I know. I thought about that after I'd already posted that, but didn't go back and edit my words. Drinking problem or no, the guy was lumpy.

I'm going to take a leap of faith here and guess that the price tag on that puppy is a hefty one.

That would be a good guess. nod

But it's all seven seasons plus extras! drool

Why can't the Angel complete DVD box be released in North America too? I'm tempted to have someone illegally tamper with my DVD player so I can get the U.K. edition.
