In Turkey, people eat tahina mostly in the winter season , it´s part of the winter breakfast and very high in iron and protein and excellent for vegans and vegetarians, it also boosts your sex drive / libido and is good for sex in general ( and for your skin and hair and nails). You simply mix tahina with either honey OR molasses, preferably grape molasses made from raisins ( sultanas) , it´s called pekmez and it should be available at most Turkish/Greek/Arab stores. It´s important that you don´t pour too much pekmez or honey or any other molasses into the tahina because then it will get to hard and too sticky..also, you should not mix more than one serving because it gets quite tough and sticky if you let it wait for a couple of hours. You can spread it on pita bread or a slice of toast or you can even use it as a filling for baked sweet stuff ( pastry)... Buying good tahina takes experience, some stuff is too oily and sticky and stays sticky and tough , even without the honey or molasses. But some Lebanese or Syrian product I bought the other day is quite good, stays liquid and you simply stir it a couple of times if the oil on the surface is too much....it´s very healthy 100 % sesame oil, high in vitamin E. The color changes from yellow/gray to light brown when you pour honey or molasses into the bowl where you´ve poured the tahina in. ( Make sure you use an extra bowk´l, don´t pour all the sweet stuff into the tahina jar). Another , more traditional way of eating tahina is to make hoummus, you probably know that...simply mix tahina with chickpea paste and add some lemon juice, black pepper and olive oil...can be used as a dip for veggies or with pita bread. It is also part of Prince´s tour rider. You can also eat it withoutthe chickpea paste if you can´t find any. Hoummus is also good for sexing. Enjoy! sp! In Turkish , it´s called tahin. In Arabic, it´s tahina . ( I think in Hebrew it´s also tahina). Germans call it tahina. Americans seem to call it tahini... In Turkish the "i" gets added if you want to say "susam tahini" , i.e " sesame tahini".. OK, linguistics lesson finished, gotta go to the gym, in order to get rid of those tahina calories " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

It's not like this thread is gonna go anywhere, anyways. a nurse friend of mine recommended it to reduce inflammation, which is said to be the cause of all sorts of ailments. i use 2 tbsp of acv with 1 tbsp of blackstrap molasses (both organic) and mix it into a glass of water. you can start with 1 tbsp and work your way up. i feel better, and the most noticeable effect has been that it's helped with my rosacea. blackstrap molasses is a great source of iron, calcium and potassium. It helps people who suffer from anemia. ..
