Photography What makes a good photographer?

the cloud picture is absolutely stunning! 
well, having taken a photography course back in highschool it's all about composition and contrast and exposure and blah blah blah 
to me, a good photographer takes what they see as beautiful and captures it in a way that can express the beauty they see, to us. take pictures that make you happy, you're only as good as you see yourself  | |

i have no idea where to begin pricing tho, it depends on how confident you are in your work

Here's some photos I've taken in the past. All using a Nikon SLR from the mid-80s; retro coolness (I do it for the grain and high contrast).
What do you think?

i need to get mine fixed, the film-advance lever is all wonky, im just scared to see the price - the things *@least* 10 years older than i am [Edited 12/3/06 8:22am] | |
