I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

woot!

It got slightly mixed reviews, but right now "Shortbus" means more to me than any other piece of cinema I've ever seen. Watching this movie was sooooo painful--there's nothing more terrifying than seeing your own life reflected back at you. Now, I've never received a "Star Spangled Banner" rim job, but still...

This movie is a masterpiece. John Cameron Mitchell even outdid "Hedwig" with this one.

I don't have a single film that's my favourite for 'personal reasons' anymore, however, for a long time it was "Raging Bull".

"I never went down, Ray. You never put me down"

Love that masterpiece nod
thumbs up!

Damn! I found the best image frame for that scene too lol
