I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you. don't get me started quoting it

It got slightly mixed reviews, but right now "Shortbus" means more to me than any other piece of cinema I've ever seen. Watching this movie was sooooo painful--there's nothing more terrifying than seeing your own life reflected back at you. Now, I've never received a "Star Spangled Banner" rim job, but still...
This movie is a masterpiece. John Cameron Mitchell even outdid "Hedwig" with this one.

I don't have a single film that's my favourite for 'personal reasons' anymore, however, for a long time it was "Raging Bull".
"I never went down, Ray. You never put me down" Love that masterpiece Damn! I found the best image frame for that scene too [Edited 12/4/06 9:21am] "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."
