I look at the girl and give her "the look". I act very cool and when I get the signal I casually move towards her with confidence. I say hi and ask her if she would like a drink while making eye contact with her.

This is what really happens -
I see the girl and think "Oh my god, she's beautiful.....have I got a booger hanging out my nose?" I try to grab her attention, this usually consists of me dropping something on the ground and making a big noise so that everyone is now looking at me like I'm a retard. I "think" I've got the signal from her, but I never get this right anyway. So I get up and walk towards her. When I say walk I mean trip and fumble over any object that mystyriously happens to appear infront of my feet. Once I reach her (she's obviously seen every stupid thing I've done up til this point) I've forgotten what I was going to say exactly and what comes out of my mouth is something like "Huh.....uummmm....thirsty?"
