i keep a hot plate on my nightstand so i can fill up a big tin pot and boil me up some corn in bed. want some? i can make you a highball to go with it. don't you think you should have some gin? | |

shoepeg corn is really yummy.
And I HATED creamed corn growing up, but I don't mind it so much now, though, I don't ever really choose to eat it. My mother makes a really weird thing called baked corn that is creamed corn and saltine crackers and milk all crushed up and mixed together and it rises almost like a souffle or something and I hated that as a kid too, but now I'd probably eat it to be nice. I bet it's not horrible. I HATE corn tortillas, I only like flour tortillas. But corn tortilla chips are ok. Sweet corn on the cob made on the grill at just the right time of year is absolutely divine. I almost never eat corn though.  [Edited 12/3/06 17:40pm] |
